This role will involve designing and developing data and system integration solutions across all business units within RMB. Integration solutions will largely be based on the Tibco product stack within RMB, which include Tibco EMS, BusinessWorks, API Exchange and ActiveSpaces, and using Integration standards and methodologies as defined by the RMB Integration Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute data conversion activities (test data)
• Manage Integration risk and project deliverables
• Prepare Integration architecture and design documents for review by the Project / Technical Architect and the bank’s Enterprise Integration Architecture Forum (IAF)
• Automate regression test packs for Integration components, in line with agreed testing frameworks and standards
• Provide production development support on a roster basis
• Identify and solve production issues when required
• Initiate dialogue to build professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to listen, advise, influence, negotiate and present at all levels
• Lead and facilitate difficult conflict situations into consensual agreements Integrate opinions and information provided by various sources to make strategic decisions
• Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences Continually scan the industry to identify opportunities to create strategic partnerships with key individuals and bodies
• Follow best practice and principles governance policy frameworks and utilisation of tools for the technology of the domain
• Engage with the designated standards team for specific guidance and delivery of solution components to maximise impact

Qualifications

• Have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Have at least 3 years Integration experience across multiple Integration platforms and technology landscapes (especially Tibco BusinessWorks 5x)
• Have 2 years server-side development experience
• Demonstrate a clear and thorough understanding of Enterprise Integration Architecture patterns and best practices
• These include: Synchronous/Asynchronous messaging, Message queuing, guaranteed messaging, message correlation and sequencing, distributed transactions, etc
• Data Integration: Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extract Transform Load (ETL), batch architecture platforms and frameworks (eg
• Informatica PC and/or Ab Initio)
• Middleware Knowledge: Understanding of Message Oriented Middleware (for example Tibco BusinessWorks)
• UML modelling
• Working Operating System knowledge: Windows & Linux
• Strong relational database experience (Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
• An understanding of highly available, high performance, distributed architectures
• A good understanding of Enterprise Data Modelling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modelling)
• Prior experience with test automation
