BET Software is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer who is passionate about building secure, efficient, and scalable cloud solutions. You’ll work in dynamic hybrid cloud environments, leading the implementation and monitoring of cloud-native business applications on orchestrated container platforms. You'll also handle security through vulnerability scans, assessments, and patching to maintain platform resilience and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand and fulfill requirements
• Design and build distributed systems and work with the Operator Framework
• Support Production and Development Teams for container platform issues
• Manage backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
• Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift environments
• Monitor system health with tools like Prometheus
• Develop automation scripts (Ansible or equivalent)
• Ensure systems meet NIST and departmental standards
• Maintain software updates and documentation
• Foster teamwork, mentor junior staff, and resolve technical disputes
• Apply leadership in crisis situations and uphold ethical standards
• Promote learning, growth, and ownership in the IT infrastructure field

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Programming fundamentals in any language
• Red Hat certifications are advantageous: RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, OpenShift Specialist
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills
