BET Software is seeking a Junior DBA to join its dynamic team! If you're passionate about data, have basic SQL skills, and are eager to learn, this is your chance to grow in a supportive environment. As part of the night shift team, you will be mentored by experienced DBAs and contribute to supporting the Operations department. You'll gain hands-on experience while helping to maintain, monitor, and optimize database performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scalable and robust database designs
• Collaborate with DBAs to meet performance goals
• Contribute to planning, documentation, and testing
• Support high availability of public-facing databases
• Install, upgrade, and maintain database servers and applications
• Provide on-call support as required
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot errors
• Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree/Diploma
• 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial environment working with high-transaction databases or successful completion of a graduate program
• 2+ years’ experience in MSSQL
• Basic SQL and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in designing/optimizing MSSQL databases
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (advantageous)
