Description

To support the delivery of Data Quality and Acquisition Solutions within the Hollard Insure business. The objective is to drive substantial bottom-line value by transforming the organisation's key decision processes (e.g., sales, marketing, product design and pricing, fraud, underwriting, and claims) by enabling the data office to acquire and provide datasets of higher quality to downstream data solutions (data engineering, business intelligence reporting, data science and AI.

Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in Data Quality and Acquisition Management, including applying industry frameworks, principles, and tools to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of enterprise data assets
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based big data frameworks, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or similar
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, PySpark, and large-scale data processing

Qualifications

• +7 year related experience Experience in database analytical tools
• Experience in Python, SQL Server, PowerBI, Excel, PowerPoint Azure will be advantageous
• Experience in the Financial Services Sector will be advantageous, especially Short-Term Insurance
