Description

To assist the golf course maintenance team in preserving and enhancing the condition of Fancourt’s world-class golf courses through hands-on training in turf management, landscaping, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mowing, edging, and grooming fairways, greens, tees, and roughs
• Rake bunkers, repair divots, and maintain ball washers/tee markers
• Follow safety protocols for equipment use and storage
• Learn about fertilization, pest control, and turf health practices
• Assist with aeration, topdressing, and other agronomic programs
• Work under the guidance of the Superintendent and senior staff
• Participate in daily briefings and follow task schedules
• Support environmentally friendly practices (water conservation, organic treatments)

Qualifications

• Grade 10
• Driver's Licence
• Clean criminal record
