Description

Gain practical experience in revenue management, customer account administration, and compliance with water service policies. Work alongside teams handling billing disputes, payment plans, and service disconnections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring customer accounts for overdue payments
• Support the processing of disconnections/reconnections based on payment status
• Help compile reports on revenue collection trends and customer disputes
• Participate in customer communication (emails, calls) regarding billing issues
• Shadow staff in field visits for meter inspections or non-payment cases

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Basic understanding of financial principles or customer service
• Proficiency in MS Excel (example, pivot tables, formulas)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
