Description

Assist in setup and testing of Stopex Emulsion pumps, including preparation and operational phases. Ensure pumps are properly connected and fully filled before operation. Clean pumps and work area after task completion to maintain hygiene and safety standards. Follow full operational process from setup to delivery when product is required. Regularly verify sufficient stock levels in P100 storage area. Assemble and prepare product packaging boxes. Set up and connect filling pump to Ferrit car to initiate filling process. Fill emulsion bags to meet specified weight requirements. Stack and palletize boxes according to quantity needs. Ensure safe transportation of palletized products to magazine storage area. Assist magazine team with moving and loading palletized products when not assigned to C2 or D

Responsibilities

• Handle the loading and unloading of materials, transport items, and support construction or maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by performing tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting, and handling minor repairs
• Use machinery and tools safely while working under supervision
• Support inventory tasks by helping organize and replenish supplies and equipment
• Work alongside skilled tradespeople by assisting with duties they assign
• Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors
• Recognize small issues and take steps to resolve them promptly

Qualifications

• Obtain a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Gain experience working in a chemical process plant or with explosives
