The Human Resource Management and Development (HRM&D) department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geography Intern to support its strategic workforce planning, talent mapping, and data-driven HR initiatives. The internship offers hands-on experience in applying geographic data and spatial analysis in human resource functions and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mapping employee distribution and workforce demographics using GIS tools
• Support spatial analysis for recruitment planning, training locations, and resource allocation
• Contribute to HR analytics by integrating geographic data with organizational data sets
• Prepare maps, reports, and presentations for internal HRM&D use
• Collaborate with HR teams to support decision-making through geospatial insights
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications

• A three-year tertiary qualification in Geography/ Environmental Science/ Geographical Information Systems/ Geomatics/ Cartography or related fields
