A vacancy exists for a Finance Intern, reporting to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial processing, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as providing accurate financial data to managers, to guide them in making sound business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Maintain complete records of all financial transactions of an undertaking according to general bookkeeping principles, with guidance from the finance team
• Apply knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices to identify and solve problems that arise
• Verify accuracy of documents and records relating to payments, receipts and other financial transactions
• Create and/ or maintain filing systems for account functions
• Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and operations

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance
