As a Statistics Intern in the HRM&D department, you will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting workforce data. Your role will involve preparing reports on employee performance, recruitment trends, and training outcomes. You will assist in identifying patterns and correlations that can help improve HR strategies and employee engagement. Using statistical tools and software, you’ll contribute to forecasting and workforce planning initiatives. The internship offers hands-on experience with real HR data and exposure to organizational development processes. You'll collaborate closely with HR professionals to understand key metrics and their business impact. Responsibilities

Collect, organize, and analyze HR-related data (employee turnover, attendance, training effectiveness)
Prepare statistical reports and visualizations to support HR decision-making
Assist in developing HR metrics and dashboards
Identify trends and patterns in workforce data to inform policy and strategy
Support internal surveys, data audits, and employee feedback analysis
Work closely with HR teams to understand data needs and ensure relevant insights
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, HRM, Business Analytics, or a related field
Basic knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with statistical software (SPSS, R, Python) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
