Description

The YES initiative is a collaborative effort between businesses, government, and labor to create economic opportunities for South African youth. Participants undergo 12 months of on-the-job training, gaining exposure to various facets of the retail business. Successful completion equips learners with the skills necessary to pursue a career in retail or to start their own retail enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Perform real job duties, such as: Customer service Cashier duties
• Inventory control and stock taking
• Merchandising and promotions
• Handling product queries and returns

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or an equivalent qualification
