Description

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our global, remote team and contribute to the development and optimization of ClickHouse, a high-performance, open-source columnar database management system. In this role, you will work on enhancing the core engine, developing new features, and ensuring the system’s scalability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ClickHouse database features and architecture
• Write efficient, high-quality, and maintainable C++ code
• Improve query execution, indexing, and data storage mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex engineering challenges
• Contribute to performance tuning, debugging, and code reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong foundational knowledge in algorithms, data structures, and system design
• Additional certifications in database management, cloud computing, or distributed systems are a plus but not required
