Description

Old Mutual is looking for bright and ambitious young learners to join the Amathuba Learnership Programme. This 12-month programme offers learners the opportunity to complete the Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification and gain valuable workplace experience. The qualification is accredited and FSP-recognized, opening career paths in underwriting, financial investment advising, and insurance brokerage. Learners will be assigned a mentor, complete a logbook, gain exposure to financial products, and participate in Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose client issues through data analysis and research
  • Provide customer service and handle inquiries
  • Participate in a community of practice to build expertise
  • Provide basic product/service information
  • Perform data entry and verification
  • Collect and share knowledge and best practices
  • Develop and maintain technical skills through training
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations
  • Support operational improvements and innovation

Qualifications

  • South African citizen aged 18-30
  • Currently unemployed and not studying at another educational institution
  • Have not participated in a Wealth Management NQF4 learnership before
  • Passed Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
  • Minimum subject marks:
  • English: 50% or higher
  • Official second language: 50% or higher
  • Pure Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy: 50% or higher
  • Available to join the programme in May 2025
