Description

A Learning & Development (L&D) Instructional Designer and Trainer plays a pivotal role in enhancing an organization's workforce by designing effective learning experiences and delivering training programs. This dual-role professional ensures that employees acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage training budgets
  • Evaluate the results of learning courses
  • Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning Support and provide compliance trainin
  • g needs and reporting
  • Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms)
  • Fulfil role of Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) – compile Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Report for submission to FASSET (or relevant SETA)
  • Oversee the implementation of critical programs such as learnerships

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate degree or diploma in Humanities or Industrial Psychology advantageous
