Description

The successful Candidates will be afforded an opportunity to enroll in an external Unemployed 4 months Cadet program. Our Mining Cadet Program is an enrichment program for the community and will enable you to develop skills with on-the-job/core training at Mogalakwena Complex. This Program will enable you to maximize your potential along with a tailored plan to provide you with a future to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • On-the-job training: Cadets will participate in practical, hands-on training to gain real-world experience in various aspects of mining operations
  • Skill development: The program focuses on developing core skills required for the mining sector, such as those outlined in the Competent Person B Skills Programme
  • Learning: Cadets are expected to actively participate in learning and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills
  • Fixed-term contract: Successful candidates will enter into a Fixed Term Contract of Employment with a stipend/allowance paid

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy and English
  • Must have obtain a pass mark of 40% and above
