HR Information Systems Specialist

Description

This role serves as the strategic advisor and first line support for information systems support which will enable HR planning and operations. This role works closely with other subject matter experts to ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Specialist also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate HR data and support leadership in decision-making
  • Provide strategic advisory guidance to business stakeholders
  • Support HR planning and operations with integrated systems
  • Maintain system manuals and configuration
  • Participate in application development and design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification in any of these fields is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing or managing HRIS
  • A combination of professional experience in information systems management and human resources is an added advantage
