AB InBev is seeking a Utilities Operator at Newlands Brewery. The role involves the safe operation of Coal & Biogas Boilers and associated equipment to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely production according to the scheduled plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring boiler performance, maintaining workplace safety, and optimizing production performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor boiler performance
• Measure and analyze trends in performance attributes
• Apply OHS procedures and maintain workplace safety standards
• Optimize production performance and operate plant/process equipment
• Interpret production plans and maintain utilities operations
• Report plant, machine, and process issues
• Conduct autonomous maintenance and operator breakdown maintenance tasks
• Work as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Prepare boilers for government inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards

Qualifications

• Matric or Grade 12 with technical skills
• Trade test (advantageous)
• Computer literacy
• Minimum of 2 years of general production experience in an FMCG environment
• Experience in a utilities/processing environment (advantageous)
