Description

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Environmental and Infrastructure Service Department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.

Responsibilities

• Waste management planning to ensure legislative compliance and that waste is managed in an environmentally sustainable manner; Stakeholder management to ensure community buy-in and participation in the City's waste management initiatives; Coordinate and provide input into the Management of Business Planning, Reporting on Project progress and Financial Management activities of the Business Unit;

Qualifications

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in: Environmental Health, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or closely related disciplines
