As a QA Analyst, you will ensure the quality and readiness of new software developments and issue resolutions for customer release. The role involves analyzing requirements, creating test plans, executing tests, and tracking issues to ensure solutions meet expected outcomes. You will use various software tools and techniques to verify compliance with best practices, resolve anomalies, and provide user instructions for tested applications.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis & Documentation: Analyze software requirements and technical specifications
• Participate in requirement and design review meetings
• Develop and document application test plans based on requirements and specifications
• Test Creation & Execution: Create test cases with detailed expected results
• Stage test data and execute functional, application, and regression tests
• Issue Reporting & Compliance: Record and document test results, including anomalies and issues
• Ensure compliance with general programming best practices, web standards, and specific coding standards
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with QA team members to catch software bugs in-house before delivery to customers
• Provide timely status reports
• Technical Tools & Support: Utilize software tools like SQL queries, data simulators, and HTML verification
• Create maintenance release notes and testing instructions for end users

Qualifications

• Understanding of QA methodologies and testing techniques
