Hire Resolve's client is looking for a Junior Intermediate Microsoft Power BI Developer to join their team in Port Elizabeth, EC (Remote). The client is a eading business solutions (ERP) service provider since 2003. We have an esteemed client base in most industries including, but not limited to, Distribution, Financial Services, Agriculture, Mining and Retail. We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, self-managed, results-driven and dynamic with a strong drive towards providing excellent solutions. Your focus will be to understand business requirements, designing, developing and delivering solutions within a structured product offering, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• To develop and implement Power BI solutions and enhancements, working from high level technical requirements specifications in line with business requirements
• Design and develop Power BI data models using Power Query to best practice specifications from traditional sources example: Data warehouse, Excel, common DB platforms, CSV etc
• Develop, deploy, share, automate and maintain Power BI solutions in the cloud
• Develop with Power BI best practice coding standards and guidelines
• Quality assurance checks on all new Power BI project functionality and business requirements
• Creation and maintenance of Power BI technical documentation

Qualifications

• At least 2 Years Microsoft Power BI Development experience (Front and backend)
• Good working knowledge of Power BI architecture, deployment, sharing, security and best practices
• Ability to work independently and deliver on dashboard and report deliverables from a technical specification
• Solid experience with testing Power BI dashboards and report to ensure they meet customer expectations
• Basic SQL Query experience
• SQL Developer/ Data Warehouse skills with MS T-SQL
• ETL SSIS Skills
• MCSA: BI Reporting Certification from Microsoft
• BCOM Informatics
