Description

To ensure the quality and reliability of our applications, you will play a pivotal role as a Tester at Momentum Group Finance Technologies. In this role, you will design test cases, execute both manual and automated tests, meticulously track defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues. With a strong focus on managing risks and timelines independently, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality outputs, ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design test cases and execute both manual and automated tests with a hands-on attitude
• Confidently identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring prompt resolution and re-testing
• Perform regression and smoke testing as required with minimal supervision, working autonomously when necessary
• Analyse test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve technical issues

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a testing role with 2-4 years of experience in IT
• Advantageous: ISTQB Foundation and Agile certifications
