Description

Responsible for architecting and designing comprehensive infrastructure solutions that meet business needs in support of application solutions by translating those needs into solution specific architecture and designs. Work closely with the IM Senior Specialist: Infrastructure & Cloud Platform, Applications Solution Architecture and the Business Analyst to bring in the technology considerations and opportunities in the demand evaluation. Ensure that solutions designs are aligned to IM’s architecture standards and principles, and leverage common solutions and services, as well as meet financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Applications Solution Architects in Architecture Design
• Designing architectures based on business constraints and requirements
• Translating requirements into detailed technical designs
• Contributing to analysis and evaluation of technology needs, costs, and benefits
• Designing infrastructure architecture systems and solutions
• Managing requirements, service, process, and solution design for infrastructure solutions
• Preparing proposals for optimisation, upgrades, retirement, or replacement of infrastructure technology
• Collaborating with Delivery Management to develop DevOps technology strategy and implementation frameworks
• Driving buy-in and adoption of technology enhancements and upgrades
• Ensuring all IT Infrastructure Technology adheres to Deployment, Transition & Change Management practices
• Driving adoption and implementation of quality assurance and test automation practices
• Managing infrastructure technology portfolio changes and new solutions
• Collaborating with service providers and Technology Enablement teams to ensure infrastructure configuration management completeness, compliance, and correctness
• Managing expectation, engagement, and relationships with key stakeholders
• Regularly reporting on technology health, key issues, and roadmap plans

Qualifications

• University Bachelors Degree
• Experience: 6+ relevant years
