Description

The Kwazulu-Natal Department of Sport, Arts and Culture invites applications for internship opportunities within the Department. These internships are open to unemployed graduates between 18-35 years of age, residing in the province, who hold a relevant Degree or Three-Year National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Built Environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and designing infrastructure projects under supervision
  • Support project teams in monitoring and evaluating on-site construction activities
  • Conduct basic surveys, measurements, and data collection
  • Help prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines in collaboration with team members

Qualifications

  • Degree or Three-Year National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Built Environment
  • Reside in KwaZulu-Natal province
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Must not have prior work experience in the area of study or participated in a government internship programme
