Description

The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for a 24-month Internship Programme starting in 2025. The program aims to provide practical skills and experience, fostering competence and career development, and requires computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring: Assist in monitoring security systems such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems to ensure safety and security
• Incident Response: Support the security team in responding to incidents, emergencies, or breaches by following established protocols
• Data Analysis: Analyze security logs and data to identify potential vulnerabilities or unusual activity within the network or facilities
• Security Audits: Assist in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and inspections
• Risk Assessment: Support in evaluating potential security risks and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Security, Policing or Law
