Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on IT and Cybersecurity topics, sourcing credible data from industry reports, case studies, and expert insights to ensure content accuracy and authority
• Edit, proofread, and enhance content to meet editorial standards and resonate with target audiences
• Collaborate on content planning to align with Managed IT and Cybersecurity industry trends
• Edit AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, readability, and engagement
• Incorporate first-party and third-party research into content to enhance credibility
• Optimize content for SEO while maintaining authority and trustworthiness
• Work closely with writers, contributors, and subject matter experts to deliver polished and impactful content
• Oversee content submissions for the IT & Cybersecurity media platform, ensuring alignment with the platform’s voice and goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional editing experience, with a portfolio focused on IT and Cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity trends, and Cloud technology
• Proven expertise in editing SEO-optimized long-form and short-form content
• Advanced knowledge of E-EAT principles for content development and editing
• Proficiency in managing editorial workflows and editing AI-generated content for style, accuracy, and engagement
• Exceptional research skills to verify technical information and integrate data/statistics seamlessly into content
• Bonus: Experience in IT journalism, tech blogging, or technical documentation
