As a Technical Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for JUMO's daily loan book operations and work with various departments to optimize portfolio and asset management decisions. You will work within a high-performance team, focusing on Product and Prediction, and report to the Head of Portfolio Operations and Technical Portfolio Manager. Your role aims to optimize financial return and increase financial inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ongoing operational implementation of Portfolio Management and Asset Management decisions
• Using data insights, be able to troubleshoot portfolio issues and assist with remedial action
• Work with product and technical teams to implement business requirements from Decision Science and Analytics and Portfolio Management teams
• Provide support and assist with complex problem solving across various teams using your technical coding skills
• Be able to work independently and be bold enough to challenge the status quo even outside of your domain
• Learn new technologies, business concepts and innovate

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Engineering or equivalent tertiary degree (This is a graduate level role, ongoing studies concluding by Jan 2025 will be considered)
• Working knowledge of Python and SAS/R
• Understanding of the credit lifecycle
• Effective communication skills in technical concepts
• To be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
