Description

Lucerne Transport, based in Tulisa Park, Gauteng, is seeking a Debtors Clerk to join the team. The successful candidate will assist with costing, invoicing using the in-house system, and maintaining schedules for invoicing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Administration and data capturing
• Filing and record keeping
• Monthly and weekly debtor invoicing
• Liaising with debtors for payment

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Higher Certificate in a relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the transport industry (beneficial)
• Computer literate (Windows 2003 & 2007) with a good working knowledge
• Basic accounting skills
• Must have own transport
• Willingness to work overtime when requested
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Work well under pressure
• Proactive and innovative approach
• Strong numeric skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
