Description

SITA is offering a 12-month Internship Programme in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province for unemployed South Africans aged 18-35 with ICT skills. The program, which includes Server Engineering , Network Engineering, End User Computing and Service Desk requires no prior work experience.

Responsibilities

Server Engineering Responsibilities:
Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of servers
Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues under supervision
Network Engineering Responsibilities:
Assist in setting up and maintaining network infrastructure
Monitor network performance and identify connectivity issues
End-User Computing Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and peripherals
Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, printers, and mobile devices
Service Desk Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries and incidents
Log and classify incidents and service requests in the service desk system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 3-year National Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or a related field at NQF Level 6
No prior work experience required
