Description

As a Data Analyst/Insights Specialist, you will analyze business and market data to identify opportunities, gaps, and challenges. This role emphasizes evaluating Marketing, Sales, and Prescription (Rx) teams’ performance against KPIs and supporting data-driven initiatives to enhance insights and analytics. The goal is to foster a data-driven culture and empower stakeholders with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of internal and external data
• Performance Monitoring: Track and assess the performance of teams against KPIs
• Data Improvement Initiatives: Participate in projects that enhance data quality and processes
• Insights Generation: Translate complex data into actionable insights
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate across departments to share findings and recommendations
• Problem-Solving: Identify and prioritize investment opportunities based on insights
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams to develop a self-service reporting structure

Qualifications

• Matric
• Degree in STEM fields, such as Business Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 2-4 years in data analysis or a similar role
• Proficient in tools and languages: Power BI, Python, R, SQL
• Experience creating dashboards and reports
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical data (eg IQVIA, Dis-Chem)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and storytelling with data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain and customer journey mapping
