Description

As a Data and Power BI Analyst your role is to leverage data analytics, automation, and cybersecurity to support processes and improve client decision-making. Your role is to help streamline operations, mitigate risks, and enhance quality by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and secure, efficient IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • IT Audit: Assess IT systems and controls to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency
  • Focus areas include cybersecurity, access controls, and change management
  • Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics and automation to enhance audit accuracy, optimize processes, and reduce risks, contributing to audit excellence
  • Process Improvement: Use data-driven insights to streamline operations, support decision-making, and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating risks by analyzing data and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
  • Support Cybersecurity Efforts: Help enhance cybersecurity measures by utilizing data analytics and automation in the organization's processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Finance, or related field (NQF Level 7)
  • Certifications in data analytics, cybersecurity, or automation (CISA preferred)
  • 1-2 years of relevant post-article experience, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity and IT risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying data patterns, security issues, and process improvements
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Syspro) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOX, COBIT, ITIL)
