The Pick n Pay Hospitality Learnership 2025 is a six-month UIF-funded program designed to equip unemployed youth with valuable skills and practical experience in the retail industry. Participants will start with 10 days of intensive theoretical training, followed by hands-on practical training in a store environment under the guidance of a dedicated in-store mentor. The program includes thorough monitoring, verification processes, and a final assessment to evaluate skills and knowledge gained. This SETA-accredited initiative is aimed at enhancing the employability and career prospects of young individuals across South Africa. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R3,500 during the program.

Responsibilities

• Attend theoretical training sessions for the initial 10 days of the program
• Engage in practical, in-store training for the remainder of the six months
• Work under the supervision of an in-store mentor
• Participate in program monitoring and verification
• Complete the final assessment and moderation at the end of the program

Qualifications

• Be currently unemployed
• Be under 29 years old
• Have a Matric qualification
