Description

The Public Education & Information Internship at the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) is a 24-month program focused on promoting gender equality through public education and community engagement. Interns will create and deliver educational content, conduct workshops, and support campaigns. Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills are essential for driving social impact and fostering community awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court cases, hearings, and trials
  • Organize and maintain case files and legal databases
  • Attend client meetings and take notes for follow-ups
  • Prepare summaries of legal issues and findings
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal or client use

Qualifications

  • B
  • Proc or LLB
  • Legal writing skills
  • Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
