Description

The Surveillance Officer is responsible for protecting company assets, guests, and casino operations by monitoring activities via CCTV. The role requires adherence to Peermont Global Policies, Procedures, and the Gaming Board's Rules and Regulations. The Surveillance Officer ensures compliance through consistent observation and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to gaming incidents and phone calls
• Conduct covert/overt investigations, card issues, and returns
• Perform CCTV system checks and general administrative duties, including report writing
• Proactively and reactively monitor all activities
• Maintain effective working relationships and adhere to procedure manuals, Gaming Board rules, and regulations
• Open and investigate cases, submit evidence in hearings and court cases, and control access when required
• Manage surveillance bannings and self-exclusions

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• 2 years of gaming experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of table games (AR, Poker, Black Jack, Baccarat/Punto Banco)
• PSIRA Grade C registration
• Good administrative skills and the ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under pressure with strong interpersonal skills
• Medically fit and computer literate
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Shift work availability is required
