Description

As a Supply Chain Management Intern, you will assist in various aspects of the supply chain process, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution. You will support the tracking and analysis of inventory levels, help manage supplier relationships, and assist in the coordination of shipments and deliveries. Additionally, you may help identify opportunities to optimize the supply chain and ensure that processes are efficient and cost-effective. This internship offers hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain field, providing exposure to industry practices and tools while contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing inventory levels and tracking stock movement
• Help coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers and placing orders
• Support logistics and distribution efforts by assisting with shipment tracking and delivery coordination
• Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Help analyze supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement or cost optimization
• Assist in preparing reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree (NQF6/7) in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
