Nedbank is looking for a skilled BI Data Analyst to support and maintain its data warehouse, ensuring compliance with data models and metadata repository standards, and providing business intelligence analysis. In this role, you will aid in strategic and operational support, working closely with business units to deliver relevant data and information. You’ll manage and structure data, govern datamarts, and support vendor relationships, contributing to the organization’s information-sharing efforts and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data aligns with compliance standards, adhering to metadata governance procedures
• Manage transformed data content according to prescribed standards for review and publication
• Assist with datamart population by following established standards and processes
• Provide consulting services to business units, delivering data relevant to their needs
• Manage vendor interactions in line with guidelines and prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations
• Identify innovation opportunities to continuously improve processes
• Log and track incidents, manage risks within governance frameworks, and stay informed on industry regulations
• Participate in knowledge-sharing, transformation goals, and corporate social responsibility initiatives
• Recommend and support new process and system enhancements

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma
• Preferred: Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Certifications: Data Management (DAMA) Certification; Training in relevant technology
