Description

The Kwazulu-Natal Provincial Treasury is offering a two-year program to help unemployed youth gain practical experience through structured, work-based learning. Running from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2027, the program aims to develop job-related skills, with participants required to enter into a contract with the department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans and initiatives
  • Support the analysis of supplier performance and procurement trends
  • Help with the preparation of procurement documents, such as requests for proposals (RFPs), tenders, and contracts
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions
  • Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance

Qualifications

  • National Diploma or Degree in:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Commerce
  • Financial Management
