As a Senior Engineer and DevOps specialist, you'll support a small software engineering team to build web applications for internal use and direct client access, working on both front-end and back-end solutions. Our tech stack includes Kubernetes, Apache Pulsar, Postgres, Java, and Spring Boot, with applications ranging from data analytics platforms to crowdsourcing and social media engagement tools.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance our server-side technologies, including CI/CD tooling
• Perform infrastructure maintenance and develop/debug backend services
• Collaborate with teams to improve infrastructure performance and reliability
• Develop client-facing data analytics/reporting, social media engagement, and crowdsourcing platforms

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining a Kubernetes cluster
• Backend or full-stack Java experience, especially with Spring Boot
• Proficiency with bare-metal servers running Ubuntu Server
• Experience with Java, Hibernate, FluentJdbc, PostgreSQL, JavaScript (React/Vue js), HTML, CSS, and related tooling (webpack, npm)
• Knowledge of Node js, Chef, Git, and Linux
• Experience in delivering projects from idea to production
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive, curious approach
