At RootstockLabs, we focus on extending Bitcoin’s functionality to support humanity’s economic future. We are a major contributor to Rootstock, a leading Bitcoin sidechain that enables the development of decentralized applications on a secure and decentralized financial infrastructure. We are looking for a proactive Web3 developer with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Knowledge of Solidity is a plus. The role involves developing Web3 applications, collaborating closely with tech writers, and contributing to the evolution of the Rootstock ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Web3 applications
• Implement and optimize smart contracts
• Participate in project design, code reviews, and mentoring junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative Web3 products
• Enhance user experience and simplify solutions on Rootstock
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to blogs, articles, and documentation for user education
• Participate in Web3 hackathons and stay updated on industry trends

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Nodejs
• Experience with decentralized applications (dApps) development
• Knowledge of Solidity and smart contracts (preferred)
• Familiarity with blockchain networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Passion for continuous learning and sharing knowledge
• Experience participating in hackathons or contributing to open-source projects is highly valued
