The Professional Retail Programme (PRP) is an eight-month graduate internship aimed at preparing graduates for specialized entry-level roles in the retail industry. Graduates will learn key roles and responsibilities within the retail value chain and how these contribute to business and consumer value. The programme includes a combination of classroom instruction, self-study, group project work, and four months of practical work experience in selected retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage in cloud-based learning through a mix of classroom and self-study
• Collaborate on group projects that simulate real-world retail scenarios
• Complete four months of hands-on work experience in selected retail environments
• Learn various roles and responsibilities across the retail value chains

Qualifications

• South African citizen
• Aged 18-33 years
• Unemployed
• No criminal record
• Applicants must have a diploma, degree, or be a final-year student in one of the following fields BCom, Operations Management, Management or Business Management, Business Science, Retail Management, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Clothing Management, or any other retail-related qualifications
