Description

The City of Johannesburg's Group Corporate & Shared Services Department is offering an internship opportunity for graduates in Human Resources and related fields. The intern will be responsible for coordinating HR administrative tasks and providing support to ensure employees understand organizational and legislative procedures concerning their benefits and development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative requirements for HR processes, systems, and controls
  • Facilitate employment processes and procedures
  • Compile qualitative and quantitative data for statutory reports
  • Support notifications, arrangements, and provision of resources for subcommittee meetings and dispute hearings

Qualifications

  • Completed or final year of a Degree/National Diploma/N6 in: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Or any other related qualification
  • If still studying, submit an enrollment confirmation letter from the institution
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills in English and effective stakeholder coordination
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, planning, organization, and time management
  • Teamwork, integrity, customer service orientation, and professionalism
