Description

The Junior Data Engineer will develop sustainable data frameworks for healthcare data management, collaborating with program managers, data scientists, and architects to support machine learning and AI model production using ETL/ELT principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for analytics, machine learning, and reporting
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders
• Design reusable tools and frameworks for data sharing and model production
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance
• Optimize data solutions using cloud technologies like Azure and manage large datasets
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and assist in metadata management

Qualifications

• Honours or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or related IT field
• 3-5 years of experience in data pipelines, data modeling, and machine learning
• Proficiency in MS SQL, Oracle PL\SQL, DAX, MQL, R, Python, Java, and cloud tools (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics)
• Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD, and Unix/Linux administration (advantageous)
