Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Testing and Documentation: Perform preparatory tasks, analysis, and documentation of results for routine and stat specimens in a Clinical Pathology Laboratory
• Analyzer and Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and operating laboratory analyzers and equipment, ensuring they function effectively and accurately
• Quality Assurance: Adhere to Ampath’s quality standards in every aspect of diagnostic testing and result documentation
• Regulatory Compliance: Follow Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) regulations and Ampath’s Safety, Health, and Environment policies
• Client Interaction: Provide service to a diverse clientele, including medical professionals, insurance firms, government bodies, and pathology practices affiliated with the National Pathology Group

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Have a relevant qualification
• Secure HPCSA registration in relevant and practice field
• Complete experiential training in training laboratory
• Under HPCSA regulations
