Description

The IT Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting IT operations at the plant by collaborating with HQ and local teams. This role involves developing annual IT workplans, managing IT budgets, addressing service suggestions, and ensuring alignment with HQ standards. Key tasks include IT infrastructure setup and maintenance, ERP system support, local IT asset management, and IT security. Additionally, the IT Business Partner will assist in rolling out plant application systems, supporting MES, WMS, and JIS operations, and maintaining shop floor devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HQ and local teams to execute annual IT workplans and budgets
• Maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with HQ standards
• Provide first-level support for ERP and other HQ systems, performing daily maintenance
• Design IT system roadmaps and participate in application rollouts with HQ IT
• Ensure IT system security and manage IT asset purchasing and disposal
• Install and maintain shop floor devices and systems, including PCs, PDAs, and printers
• Support MES, WMS, and JIS operations, including system testing, user training, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Organizational Sciences
• 3+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledgeable in IT infrastructure, networking, and manufacturing IT systems
• Extensive MES project support experience; full implementation experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office365
• Previous experience with virtualization environments
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
