Accenture is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions that support business goals. The role involves creating workflows for data ingestion, quality assurance, transformation, and optimization, as well as migrating data from legacy systems to cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable data workflows that cover ingestion, quality checks, transformation, and optimization processes
• Build scalable and efficient data pipelines using Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) tools
• Migrate data from legacy data warehouses to cloud-based storage and processing systems using cloud architecture best practices
• Ensure secure, reliable, and optimized data migration processes
• Develop and automate data flows for efficient data processing and enable seamless data consumption across the organization
• Deploy robust and scalable data solutions into production environments, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency
• Design, implement, and enforce data quality rules and frameworks to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data
• Build business processes and workflows to support data governance and compliance, aligning with organizational policies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design business processes that promote and enforce data governance principles
• Advise on and implement effective data compliance policies that align with regulatory standards and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in a related field
• Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Statistics and Data Science, OR a Degree in Data Science
• Proven experience in data engineering, data pipeline construction, and cloud architecture
