Description

The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and manage defects to verify software and infrastructure alignment with acceptance criteria. This ensures quality solutions for SARB's systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various types of testing functional, non-functional, integration, system integration, regression, and user acceptance
• Analyze business requirements and perform gap analyses
• Compile test strategies, plans, and test cases with estimates
• Develop and implement testing techniques for new or existing solutions
• Manage defects and quality through early detection
• Report on progress and quality, supporting final solution approval
• Compile user manuals and conduct training
• Engage with internal and external users to realize business benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science in Information Technology or equivalent qualification (NQF 7)
• Five to eight years’ experience in infrastructure testing
• Industry, organizational, and business awareness
• Quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• Knowledge of IT legislation, governance, risk, and compliance
• Skills in application design, infrastructure testing, and operations
