Description

The role requires designing and developing robust APIs and intuitive user interfaces to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance based on user stories. You will collaborate with feature teams to refine user specifications, estimate tasks, and design technical solutions. Responsibilities include crafting web screen interactions that focus on user experience and system reliability, as well as managing data through querying, imports, and updates. You will utilize REST services for systems integration and provide technical support to troubleshoot issues. Adhering to secure coding practices and regulatory standards like PCI DSS, GDPR, and POPIA is essential. Active participation in Agile development processes is expected, contributing to sprint planning and execution. This ensures the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust APIs and intuitive UIs, ensuring seamless integration
• Collaborate with feature teams to refine user stories and design technical solutions
• Craft and enhance web interface interactions, focusing on user experience
• Manage data, including querying, imports, and updates
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure system operation
• Adhere to secure coding practices and comply with regulatory standards
• Participate in Agile development processes to ensure timely delivery of solutions

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field (BSc, BCom, BEng)
• At least 1 year of experience in a software development role
• Proficiency in C# and JavaScript; knowledge of frameworks like Angular is advantageous
• Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting, particularly with experience in machine learning and data analysis, is highly beneficial
• Skills in mobile development are also advantageous
