Description

The role involves designing and developing APIs and UIs, ensuring seamless integration and performance based on user stories. You'll collaborate with feature teams to refine stories, estimate tasks, and design solutions. Responsibilities include crafting web and ATM interfaces, managing data (queries, imports, updates), and integrating systems using REST services. You'll provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system operations. Adhering to secure coding practices and compliance with standards like PCI DSS and GDPR is crucial. Active participation in Agile processes, including sprint planning and review, is also required.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs and UIs ensuring integration and performance in line with project needs
• Collaborate with teams to design technical solutions
• Develop web interfaces and ATM screen interactions, focusing on user experience and reliability
• Manage data including querying, importing, and updates
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure regulatory compliance (eg PCI DSS, GDPR, POPIA)
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and reviews

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields (BSc, BCom, BEng)
• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C# and front-end web development
• Experience with ATMs, Python (especially for machine learning), and hybrid mobile development is a plus
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum
