As an apprentice, your duties will include observing, learning, and performing various tasks under the guidance of skilled technical personnel. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ensuring professional conduct, and keeping workshop equipment in check. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be expected to learn about the service and repair of vehicles, adhere to health and safety protocols, and maintain a logbook to track your progress.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform duties under the supervision of technical personnel
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct
• Ensure the workshop remains clean and safe
• Keep records of tasks and knowledge gained during the apprenticeship in a logbook
• Assist with servicing and repairing vehicles
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors

Qualifications

• Passed Matric with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Be computer literate
• Maintain a clear criminal record
