Servest Integrated is offering an exciting opportunity for a Food Serving Assistant at St Johns College. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment and assist your team in preparing and cooking food while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will report directly to the Facilities Manager and ensure high-quality food production in accordance with health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the food preparation process
• Work closely with kitchen staff of all levels
• Assist chefs in meal preparation
• Familiarity with health and safety rules for production kitchens
• Ensure food hygiene practices are followed

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Relevant culinary qualification
• Minimum 5 years of culinary experience
• Excellent knowledge of all food sections
• Ability to produce high-quality food
• Adaptability to dietary requirements
• Strong oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work long shift hours
• Positive, adaptable, and able to work unsupervised
