BKB is offering an entry-level opportunity for a qualified Cashier in the Agriculture sector. This position requires you to maintain customer satisfaction and ensure smooth transactional operations within the store. You will be responsible for handling payments, maintaining clean workspaces, and providing excellent customer service. As a Cashier, your role will also include greeting customers, resolving complaints, maintaining records of transactions, and using electronic devices such as scanners, scales, and cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering or leaving the store
• Maintain records of all transactions
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns in a pleasant and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
• Resolve customer complaints promptly
• Provide customer service by answering queries, assisting in locating items, and offering suggestions
• Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts to customers
• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronic devices

Qualifications

• Possesses a Matric qualification
• 2-3 years of experience in the Retail or Sales department
• Strong PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (eg scanners, cash registers)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage time well
• Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
• Keen eye for detail and Mathematical abilities
• Ability to stand, lift items, and work in a fast-paced environment with team members
• Impressive sales skills
